Joshua Tree
Landscape shots from a really fantastic trip to Joshua Tree NP. I spent one night backpacking in the little-visited eastern section of the park, in the Coxcomb Mountains, trying and failing to climb a bouldery peak called Spectre. Then I returned to “civilization” and camped in the northern part of the park, where I did a couple great hikes.
I found Joshua Tree very charming. I had only been to the Mojave Preserve before, and to me Joshua Tree felt a little more approachable, a little less weird, but just as beautiful.
