Jordan, Israel, Palestine, and (Regrettably) Dubai

I spent a summer (my first) studying Arabic in Jordan. Did good for my language skills, but wow was I not ready for the heat.

I also spent some quality time exploring Jerusalem and the West Bank. I don’t think I really took it all in on my first trip; I just knew I wanted to go back. I was lucky to get that opportunity a couple more times before I graduated.

And a brief stopover took me to the UAE, which sucked. Saw a real tall building, though, so you know.
